Email & Social Media: Sharing Success Strategies
Greg Cangialosi, CEO, Blue Sky Factory
This session will include a panel of marketers who are actually using email and social media integration in their marketing strategy. They will share ideas, success stories, and strategies from their campaigns. We will bring together B2B and B2C marketers from a variety of industries. As social media usage increases, marketers are connecting the dots between Facebook, Twitter, and other social networking sites. Their audiences on the social web all connect through their email database, and come to overlap. Blue Sky Factory's CEO, Greg Cangialosi, will moderate a panel consisting of Blue Sky Factory clients who will talk about how they are using email and social media to complement one another, drive more leads, and ultimately gain new business through these channels. These successful marketers will discuss what has worked for them, and share strategies and case studies from past campaigns.
Highlights:
· Become familiar with social sharing options in email as well as best practices surrounding email and social media
· Learn from real-world marketers who have actually used social sharing in their email campaigns. Participants will take away, from the panelists, real life examples of what worked and what didn't work
· Be able to view actual campaigns and metrics from those campaigns, and take away action items for using social sharing.

Connecting with the Connected—The Importance of Mobile Marketing
Thi Linh Wernau, Vice President of Key Accounts, Mobile Messaging Solutions
People are now connected more than ever. Globally, there are more than twice as many mobile phones as there are TVs and PCs. In the US, 89% of the population has a mobile phone – that's over 276 million mobile subscribers! And, the majority of US mobile subscribers are using much more than just voice on their mobiles – from text messaging to browsing the mobile web to downloading applications.
The mobile channel, and the unique characteristics of mobile (personal and interactive nature, time and location-aware, and more) present a massive untapped potential for marketers. But few have managed to unlock its potential.
mms and Carlson Marketing have teamed up to bring you an interactive workshop (with demos and live experiences) that is rich with insights on mobile marketing. Attend this interactive workshop to get a download on what you need to know about mobile marketing. Carlson Marketing will also present results of its own recent mobile segmentation study, revealing that the more you use your mobile phone, the less you use it for just voice. You will also learn why apps are not right for every audience!
In this 75 minute interactive workshop, you will learn:
· The different components that comprise mobile marketing
· Why mobile is increasingly becoming a key part of marketing plans
· Why mobile is not just about youth – and what non-voice usage and attitudes look like across various demographics
· How to effectively integrate mobile in a multi-channel mix through review of tangible use case examples
This is the one session where you will keep your phones turned on!
