The setting for this terrific meeting is The Commanders Mansion in Watertown. Built circa 1865 for Major Thomas Rodman, the Watertown Arsenals commanding just officer from 1859 to 1865, the Bracketed Style (or Italianate) mansion exhibits intricate details from paneled brickwork to a Victorian veranda supported by cast-iron, lace-like arches and Corinthian columns. Outstanding features of the interior include the abundant use of fine woods, 11 marble fireplaces, plus ceiling medallions and patterned moldings in its 27 rooms.

Please register using the Registration Form below.

Directions to The Commanders Mansion:

FROM ROUTE 128 / 95 SOUTH or NORTH:

Continue past the first set to the second set of lights which is Talcott Avenue this is where you turn right. You will know you are in the correct spot by the Roma Tile / Watertown Belmont Chamber of Commerce being directly across the street from the Talcott Avenue opening, continue down Talcott Avenue which is the road along the black iron fence.

There are four brick buildings in a row, after the fourth there is a right hand turn which is the driveway into the Commander's Mansion parking lot. The Mansion is directly in front of you as you pull into the lot. Park and use the back walkway to walk around to the front entrance.
