Part of the fun of having a blog is adding fun things to it. On this blog you can find a couple of things:
“Share This” plug-in — Click on the little icon at the end of this post and a small window opens. You can then share the post with any social media site, such as Digg, or email the post to a friend.
Interactive Poll — Look on the right hand side, you can find a poll. Many blogs now incorporate “widgets,” little programs that you can add instantly via a few lines of code. The poll widget allows you to vote and then instantly see the results.
Snap Preview — Next to any link on this blog you’ll see a little balloon icon. Run your mouse over it and up pops the Web or blog page being referenced. Neat!
You can find dozens of other fun things to add to blogs — tag clouds, lists showing the most recent comments, or even lists showing people who comment frequently.
